Each piece was carved out of sustainably sourced solid wood - carefully crafted, oiled, and polished to showcase the wood's natural grains and beautiful amber and brown tones.
This gem was inspired by the elegance and allure of the medieval era and designed to encourage youngsters to build, create, and imagine.
Committed to the pedagogical guidelines of Montessori and Waldorf learning, Chitrani offers open-ended toys for thoughtful, creative play. Toys play an important part in the learning experience and the lack of details in Waldorf toys made with natural materials, beautiful and simplistic allow children to fill in the blanks with their imaginations. They can be used in multiple ways in creative play scenarios, rather than being prescriptive. Waldorf-inspired toys are wonderfully tactile and call on children to play with them.

Each of our toys is completely designed and hand-crafted in our toy shop. Our fun toys are lovingly made using sustainable Mango/Beechwood and naturally stained using non-toxic, water-based color, A Minimal color finish allows the grain of the wood to shine through and ensures that this toy is safe for little hands and is sure to be a favorite for many years to come!

The Building Set Stairways will arrive with a brown craft covering affixed to the front and back to protect your board from any scratches while in transit.
It comes painted in water-based colors so to clean you can use any mild soap with a cloth and lightly scrub over the mistake. Do not use scrubber*
